Overview |
| The drum dumping device is a

1. Please read all instructions THOROUGHLY
before attempting to operate your new Drum Carrier/Rotator.
2. HK285A has a MAXIMUM CAPACITY RATING of
800 pounds for FULL drum, and 500 pounds for HALF-FULL drum. The
model is intended for lifting, moving, and pouring drums of size
and type noted above. DO NOT exceed these ratings as the unsafe
condition that may result could cause damage or excessive wear,
or make the unit awkward to handle.
3. When operating, loading, unloading or
maintaining your drum carrier/rotator, always use care and good
judgment, have good footing and a firm hold. Keep hands and
loose clothing etc., away from all moving parts. Never allow
anyone to be below any part of a raised Drum Carrier/Rotator or
drum. Read operating instructions before operation. |

Chain Wheel
The chain wheel control mode is adopted to tilt the oil drum and
pour materials in the drum, achieving simple operation and
effortless control. The chain wheel and the long chain cooperate
to ensure high safety, good practicability and low cost. |

T-bolts
The T-bolts are designed for effectively
fixing the forks of the forklift during operation, preventing
the forks from being separated from the fork pockets, greatly
improving the operating safety. |

Control Handle
The
control handle can be used to control the hoop to clamp and
release the drum, effectively preventing the drum from falling
or loosening during use and ensuring high applicability and
convenience. |

Hoop
The
hoop is of a semicircular structure and can be controlled to
firmly clamp and easily release the drum, the clamping force can
be adjusted freely, and the hoop can adapt to various drums with
different sizes. |

Operation
Method |
|
1. Adjust the forks so that the inside width
between the forks is 24-1/2" minimum. One fork must be locked to
bed plate.
2. Drive the forklift forward to insert forks
into fork sleeves. Attach the safety chain to mast to secure the
drum carrier/rotator to forks.
3. Open the carrier cradle full width and
hook the cradle chain on the stud.
4. Drive the forklift with forks near-floor
level to position the carrier cradle around the drum. Lock the
drum in place by clinching the chain with the ratchet tightener.
5. Remove the control chain from the box and
place the end of loop near operator's seat.
6. Raise the forks and transport the drum in
VERTICAL position.
7. TO POUR DRUM: Pull on the chain, rotate
the drum to the required angle for emptying. For the best
control of the drum pouring angle, pay out one side of the loop
while pulling in the other.
8. After emptying, rotate the drum back to
vertical position and drive the forklift to deliver the drum. |
