Microwave is a kind of high frequency
electromagnetic wave, microwave itself does not produce heat.
Microwaves in nature cannot be used as a kind of energy because
they are dispersed and not concentrated. However, the magnetron
can convert the electric energy into microwaves and penetrate
the medium with the oscillation frequency of 2450MHz per second.
When the medium has appropriate dielectric constant and medium
consumption, high-frequency oscillations will occur in the
alternating electromagnetic field, so that the energy is stored
in the medium. For chemical reactions, both thermal and
non-thermal effects can occur.
Non-polar materials such as tetrafluoroethylene; But it gets
reflected on the metal surface. The power output of the
magnetron in domestic microwave oven is basically fixed, and the
lower power is achieved by changing the on/off time (duty cycle)
of the current. The on/off of the current used by the
microcomputer can be more strictly timed, and the same working
conditions can be selected to obtain repeated chemical reaction
conditions. |

Installation Instructions |

1. Cut-off waveguide:
The cut-off waveguide has been installed on top of the furnace
chamber and should be tightened in case it has been loosened
during transportation.
2. Teflon tray holder:
General adjustment uses 3 long screws, screw them into the screw
holes in the disk, adjust the height as needed and do not touch
the pivot at the bottom of the chamber after placing the object.
Place the screws with the flat end up. Short screws are used for
other special configurations.
3. Placement of microwave chemical reactor:
a. working environment: Inside the pass-through cabinet is
preferred. Must be placed horizontally. The top reflux device or
liquid filling device should be fixed with an experimental iron
frame. No other objects should be placed within 15cm of the back
vent. Do not allow to remove the furnace feet placed.
b. power supply: The ideal power supply is a regulated power
supply. If there is no regulated power supply should have a
dedicated power supply line, not with other large equipment with
a common line. The line must be well grounded. Please use a fuse
rated 8A or higher. |
