hardness, and related properties are essential test indicators
for evaluating coating performance. This instrument allows for
convenient and comprehensive assessment of the physical
characteristics of a coating film, including its strength,
hardness, and adhesion. Its purpose is to evaluate the strength,
hardness, and adhesion of a coating by measuring its resistance
to penetration when a stylus is drawn across the surface of a
coated test panel.

Non-slip Suction Cup
The machine is equipped with eight calibrated dead weights
ranging from 50g to 500g, enabling test loads from 0 to 2000g.
By adding/removing weights, it accurately simulates various

Emergency Stop Switch
An emergency stop control switch is installed on the side of the
machine, allowing immediate power cutoff in case of special or
unexpected situations to ensure personnel safety and equipment

1. Put the instrument on the firm
surface with suitable power plug.
2. Turn the operation panel to face the operator, make sure
operator has enough space to control the instrument and put the
sample in the holder.
3. Put the weight with suitable load on the instrument to make
the stylus that can move freely.
4. Put gradienter in the sample holder to check the instrument
whether be in the horizontal plane, if not, and then adjusts the
position till the instrument is in the horizontal plane. |

the moving parts of the machine during operation!!!*
1. Forbid the operation in too hot environment.
2. Forbid the operation in too wet environment.
3. Forbid the operation in vibration environment and keep the
environment clean.
4. This instrument is used in the laboratory, the technical
indicator of operation environment as following.
5. Must use the power with the ground wire.
6. Before using the instrument must be placed on solid ground.
7. Select AC110V supply voltage, not too high to avoid burn
devices.
8. The completion of each test, cleaning machine, keep the
machine clean.
9. After using this instrument for a period of time, it is
necessary to thoroughly inspect the fasteners to prevent
loosening. When this instrument is not in use, attention should
be paid to dust, moisture, and corrosion prevention, and
vibration and collision should be avoided. |
