Product
Overview |
| The ball mill is an essential
device for mixing, fine grinding, sample preparation, dispersion
of nanomaterials, development of new products, and small-scale
production of high-tech materials. The ball mill is small in
size, complete in function and high in efficiency, and is an
ideal device for obtaining micro-particle research samples in
the laboratory. The two ball milling jars which are matched with
the machine standardly are wear-resistant ceramic jars, and
milling balls are alumina balls. In addition, the ball milling
jars and milling balls made of different materials can be
selected according to different application fields. The ceramic
ball mill is widely used in the sectors of geology, mineral
resources, metallurgy, electronics, building materials,
ceramics, chemical industry, light industry, medicine,
environmental protection and so on, and is suitable for the
production fields of products such as electronic ceramics,
structural ceramics, magnetic materials, catalysts, fluorescent
powder, pigments, coatings, mineral processing, etc. |

Attention |
1. Read the operating
instructions carefully before use.
2. Do not use damaged accessories.
3. Protective devices must not be made unserviceably or be
removed.
Wear protective gloves! Grinding jars may be very hot after
grinding.
Wear safety glasses! Wet grinding may cause high pressure in
the grinding jar--Danger of squirting!
Wear ear protectors! The noise level is up to 70dB.
4. Behavior at all times must be such as to strictly preclude
any accidents.
5. Furthermore, the MAC values at the place of work specified in
the pertinent safety regulations must be adopted. Where
applicable, ventilation must be provided or the instrument must
be operated under an exhaust hood.
6. When oxidable materials, such as metals, organic materials,
wood, coal and plastic, are ground or sieved, the risk of
spontaneous ignition (dust explosion) exists whenever the fine
particles exceed a specific percentage. While these materials
are being ground, it is necessary to take special safety
precautions (e.g. wet grinding) and the work must be supervised
by a specialist.
7. The instrument is not explosion-proof and is unsuitable to
grind or sieve materials which are explosive or combustible or
promote combustion.
8. Do not allow the instrument to run in an unsupervised state.
Due to the vibrations, under certain operating conditions, the
machine may creep along the surface on which it is located or
mounted.
9. Other than authorized persons, no one should operate the
instrument and it must be serviced and repaired by trained
specialists.
10. No one suffering from medical problems or under the
influence of medications, drugs, alcohol or overtiredness should
be permitted to operate the instrument.
11. The hood must be closed when the machine is started up.
The hood can be opened only when the drive of the mill has
come to a standstill.
12. Turn off the main switch if the instrument is to be
inoperative for an extended period (e.g. overnight). |

Features |
|
|
|
Roller
A wear-resistant rubber wrapped roller is used so
that the service life of the machine can be prolonged. The
rubber can be replaced and needs to be disassembled with a press
machine during replacement. The wear condition of the rubber
roller needs to be regularly checked. |
|
Driving Motor
The 220V 50/60HZ 250W variable-speed motor adopts
metal gears and is durable, motor transmission adopts
variable-speed transmission of a belt and a pulley, and the
equipment noise is low. The driving force is stable and
consistent to ensure smooth operation. |
|
Control Panel
The speed regulator, timer and emergency stop
switch are integrated. The rotating speed and time can be
adjusted according to the properties of the raw materials to be
subjected to ball milling. The emergency stop of the
machine can be achieved in emergency. |

Ball Milling Tanks
The
machine is equipped with two 5L ceramic tanks, the triangular
buckle sealing design is adopted in the tank opening, and a
silicone sealing gasket is installed. The ball milling tanks are
suitable for dry grinding and wet grinding according to
different raw materials. |
|
Milling Balls
The
machine is equipped with 5KG alumina ceramic
milling balls with different sizes. The milling balls have high
adaptability and practicability and can be selected as required.
The milling efficiency and quality can be greatly improved.
|
|
Bearings
High-quality bearings
are adopted to ensure smooth running of the rollers, and can be
freely adjusted to adapt to different ball milling tanks.
Bearing wheel lubricating oil needs to be regularly added in the
using process according to the frequency of use. |

Operation
Instruction |
|
1. Dry Milling
The corresponding milling balls are
matched with ball milling of ordinary powder according
to the size of the fed particles of raw materials. If
the fed particles are blocky, the milling balls with
large diameters can be selected correspondingly. The
fineness can reach 300 meshes or above according to the
ball milling time.
2. Wet Milling
The wet milling technology can
effectively improve the flowability of materials in the
ball milling tank, and the fineness can reach 1000 mesh
or above according to the ball milling time and
technology.
3. Rotating Speed
The general rotating speed of the ball
milling tank is 50-80r/min, but it is not suitable for
all materials. The method commonly used for determining
the rotating speed is that the higher the sound of the
milling balls in the ball milling tank is, the more
obvious the ball milling effect of the milling balls on
the materials in the tank is.
4. Timing
The unit commonly used for timing is H,
and the time is expressed as the hour value H
the minute value. For example, 01H15 means that the
machine stops after one hour and fifteen minutes. Set
the time and then connect the machine to the power
supply to start the machine.
Note during use: The alumina balls are
added to 1/3 of the volume inside the tank, then the
materials to be milled are fed, and 1/5 of the volume of
the milling tank should be left for the movement space. |
|
|
|
Use Method |
|
1. Clean the tanks before use
2. Load the materials and grinding balls into the
tanks. The total capacity must not exceed two-thirds.
3. Cover the lid, gently tap it to reinforce the
seal, and place it on the machine's drum.
4. Turn off the machine's switch, adjust the
speed to zero, and set the working time.
5. Connect the power supply, turn on the machine
switch, and adjust the speed from low to high. |
